A 2-inch ID rubber grommet has a nominal internal passage of 50.8 mm. This does not define the required mounting-hole diameter or a universal medium-size category.
Check the groove diameter, panel-thickness range, flange dimensions and overall depth. Confirm cable or tube clearance, connectors and installation access. Supplier type labels should be interpreted using their drawings.
Select the compound for the actual service conditions. A cable grommet helps protect the local passage from abrasion but is not suitable for every purpose simply because it fits. Verify sealing, retention or vibration requirements separately.
