Rubber grommets can be described by function, mounting profile and shape. These categories overlap and should not be treated as one universal numbered list.
Open grommets provide a passage; blind plugs close unused openings. Split profiles can assist installation around an existing cable. Stepped or tapered profiles have product-specific mounting and passage features, and should be cut only when the instructions permit it.
Color is a separate specification. A white part is not necessarily silicone or a distinct functional type. Use the drawing, material data and intended conditions to select a product, and verify any required sealing or retention.
