Match the cutout, panel thickness, passage and flange clearance to the drawing. Follow the specified retaining and installation method; do not assume every large grommet is threaded or can be fitted from one side.
Choose the compound for the actual temperature and exposure. A heat-resistant grommet does not prevent machinery from overheating. Address the cause of overheating separately, and verify the grommet's intended local protection or sealing function in the completed assembly.
