A 35 mm rubber grommet must be matched to a defined opening and function. Confirm which dimension the size describes and check the complete drawing.
An open grommet provides a passage; a blind plug closes an unused hole. Installation access depends on the retaining profile, not simply whether the part is blind. Check panel thickness, flange clearance and any cable dimensions.
Rubber parts have finite service lives and can deteriorate or tear. Choose the compound for the temperature, fluids and weather exposure. Verify the installed fit and any required seal, then inspect and replace the part as the application requires.
