A rubber grommet plug closes a specified unused opening. An open or multi-hole grommet provides a passage for one or more cables or tubes. These functions require different profiles.
Check the mounting opening, panel thickness and passage dimensions where applicable. An extended sleeve may guide a cable, but it does not automatically clamp it or provide a seal.
Vibration mounts and appliance feet have separate load and performance requirements. Do not substitute a general panel plug for those components. Choose the compound for temperature and fluid exposure, and verify the selected part in the intended assembly.
