A 1.5-inch mounting hole is nominally 38.1 mm. Select a grommet whose drawing specifies that cutout and a compatible panel-thickness range.
Check the internal passage, flange clearance and cable or tube dimensions. Do not combine or glue unrelated grommets as a substitute for a correctly specified part. Follow the installation method for the selected profile.
Material and geometry determine suitability for the actual exposure. A matching hole size does not establish air sealing or rated electrical insulation. For custom manufacture, provide a drawing or existing sample and agree on material, tolerances and acceptance criteria.
