We already know the purpose of rubber grommets, as well as their wide use. These small parts have become almost indispensable elements in the industry, production, etc. We will find them almost everywhere – from large factory machines, through the cars we drive, to small household appliances. You can find them in several different types, and one of them is sleeve grommet rubber, which is of great importance for use primarily in the electrical industry – but can also be used for other purposes.

Sleeve grommets rubber are mechanical elements when organizing cables and wires. They are used in many areas when wiring buildings, electrical devices, automation systems, etc. They are intended for sealing and terminating cables – as well as to ensure the preservation of the characteristics inside the housing, where the cables enter. Sleeve grommet rubber is primarily used for cable routing in power distribution cabinets, vehicle chassis, and other similar installations. The reliability of sleeve grommet rubber is always in the first place because it is a good insulator – which protects you from unforeseen situations such as damage to wires or cables. Namely, cables and wires sometimes pass by places that are not only inaccessible but are also full of sharp edges – so it can damage the cables and lead to a short circuit. This can be dangerous, and it is quite certain that such a situation would damage the device to which the cables and wires are connected.

Their appearance is very similar to ordinary rubber grommets, except that they are extended in their central part – thus allowing the cables to pass better and be better insulated from everything that’s on the outside. Sleeve grommets are mostly made in standard dimensions. However, you have the ability to customize them to your needs – and you can order their production outside the standard sizes. Of course, when ordering custom sleeve rubber grommets, the manufacturer will need the dimensions or technical documentation – according to which the custom sleeve rubber grommets will be made.
