Rubber grommets are available in profiles for cable passages, unused-hole closure and other specified mounting duties. Identify the required function before comparing sizes.
An open grommet lets a cable pass through a protected opening. A blind grommet closes an unused opening. Split and long-neck profiles address particular installation needs, but they must still match the panel and cable dimensions.
Check the mounting-hole size, panel thickness, passage dimensions and flange clearance. Material suitability depends on the temperature and environmental exposure. For an unusual opening, submit a drawing or existing sample for manufacturability review instead of assuming a standard part will always fit.
