A black rubber grommet provides a protective surface where a cable passes through a panel opening. The color is an appearance choice; it does not establish the compound's electrical properties or sealing performance.
Match the mounting-hole dimensions, panel thickness and cable clearance to the selected profile. A conventional open grommet helps reduce abrasion at the edge but does not automatically form a dust or water seal. It also does not replace cable insulation, strain relief or other electrical protection.
Confirm the compound and hardness using the actual temperature, fluid and mechanical requirements. For a custom part, provide a drawing or existing sample, required color and quantity for manufacturability review and quotation.
