A replacement cable grommet for a PC case should be selected from the actual panel opening and original part dimensions. A case brand alone does not establish compatibility with every model.
Measure the opening
Record the cutout shape, length, width, corner radii and panel thickness. Check the cable-bundle space, connector clearance and flange overlap. Compare these measurements with the replacement drawing before ordering.
Confirm the product description
Any model-specific compatibility claim should identify the applicable case models and supporting fit information. The product description should also make clear whether the part is an original component or a third-party replacement. Without that evidence, use dimensional requirements to assess the part.
A cable-management grommet provides edge protection; it is not a remedy for overheating or damaged wiring. Confirm material suitability for the local temperature and avoid assuming water or chemical resistance from appearance.
