Today, rubber parts are used in almost all places, in all industries –  including household use. Rubber parts are useful because they are primarily good electrical, sound, vibration, and thermal insulators. Today, we can hardly imagine any machine or device that does not have rubber parts installed – such as rubber plugs or rubber grommets. While rubber plugs are most often used to seal openings – rubber grommets serve as protection around holes or as protection for wires and cables.

Rubber grommets can be made for several purposes, as well as in different sizes or the central opening diameters. We most often use them to protect wires, cables, and electrical installations that we use – because they can often be damaged due to sharp edges that can be found in their immediate vicinity. Large rubber grommets imply a larger diameter as a whole, but most often also the diameter of the opening itself. They have a very diverse use and are actually much more significant than most of us assume. Their purpose is mainly protective, but sometimes it can also be decorative-functional – for example, when we place them on furniture legs.

The use of large rubber grommets is irreplaceable in the industry of large electrical machines – but also in the production of other electrical devices. We use them inside cars, but also often in the production of sports equipment, or even in the production of furniture. Large rubber grommets, as their name suggests, are made of rubber. However, this material can be of different types. Therefore, in addition to ordinary rubber, we sometimes use materials such as nitrile rubber, silicone, etc. Large rubber grommets can be found in several “large” sizes – but also in different hardness ranges. Of course, it all depends on the product you need –  and the purpose for which the large rubber grommets will be used.
