Rubber edge grommets or edge trim provide an interface along a specified panel edge. They help reduce local abrasion when the profile fits the panel thickness and cutout.
Check channel dimensions, bend radius, required length and retaining method. Follow the instructions for joints and any permitted adhesive. Edge trim does not automatically seal an opening or provide rated electrical insulation.
For custom manufacture, provide a drawing or existing sample and identify applicable technical requirements. Material, color and any food-contact suitability need appropriate specifications and documentation. Verify the approved part against the intended use before production.
