A rubber grommet hole plug closes an unused opening in a specified panel. It has no cable passage unless a particular product is designed for permitted piercing or modification.
Match the opening dimensions, panel thickness and retaining profile. Select the compound for temperature, fluids and outdoor exposure. EPDM, NBR (Nitrile), neoprene and silicone are different material families, with grade-specific properties.
A plug does not automatically provide vibration isolation or a water seal. Define and verify the required performance in the actual assembly. For custom manufacture, supply a drawing or existing sample and agree on the technical requirements.
