A rubber grommet sleeve extends the local interface around a cable or tube. Its dimensions and retaining profile must suit the mounting opening and required support length.
Check panel thickness, passage diameter, sleeve length and available clearance. A short sleeve should not be treated as full-length hose or cable protection. Follow the product instructions for installation and permitted movement.
Choose the compound for the actual temperature and substances involved. Rubber can be damaged by incompatible chemicals or excessive loads. Verify fit and any sealing or mechanical requirements in the assembly, and inspect the part during service as required.
