Rubber Grommets Characteristics

The elasticity at room temperature is a unique feature of rubber grommets, which is not available in any other material grommets, so rubber is also called an elastomer.
The elastic elasticity of rubber is manifested in:
① has a particularly large elastic deformation, can be stretched up to 1000% or more, and the elastic deformation of the metal is less than 1%;
② After the deformation, the external force is removed, and the deformation can be quickly restored, and the permanent deformation is small;
③ The modulus of elasticity is particularly low, only 105~106Pa, and the metal material is 1011~1012Pa. The modulus of rubber is about 6 orders of magnitude smaller than that of metal, which means that the smaller force will cause the rubber to undergo large deformation; The stress-strain curve of rubber is not like metal, nor plastic, and does not yield.
