Before choosing a part
Specify continuous and peak temperatures, exposure duration, contact fluids, hardness and color. We confirm the proposed silicone compound against those conditions. A generic silicone description does not establish a continuous-use temperature rating.
Food-contact, medical or other regulated uses require a suitable grade and supporting documentation for the intended application. These properties cannot be inferred from the material name or color.

Identify the geometry

Specify the compound requirements
Provide hardness, color and operating conditions. State any food-contact, medical or other documentation requirements with the intended application so the proposed grade can be reviewed.
Confirm manufacture and samples
For an existing profile, confirm the silicone configuration and quotation. For a custom part, send your drawing or sample for manufacturability review, tooling and sampling before production.

Is every catalog size available in silicone?
The product catalogs identify geometries. Confirm the material configuration, hardness, color and availability for your selected part before ordering. A linked product may offer a different material, so check its options separately.
Can silicone grommets operate continuously at 300°C?
Do not assume a 300°C continuous-use rating. Any high-temperature requirement needs a suitable compound and supporting data for the exposure duration and operating conditions. Confirm the grade before approving the application.
Are silicone grommets automatically food grade or medical grade?
No. The material name and color do not establish suitability. Specify the intended contact, environment and documentation required; the particular grade and finished part must be reviewed for that use.
Can you manufacture silicone grommets from a drawing or sample?
Yes. Send your drawing or existing sample with dimensions, tolerances, hardness, color, quantity and service conditions. The process covers manufacturability review, quotation, tooling, sampling and production to the agreed specification.
Can I request a sample before production?
Contact us to confirm sample arrangements for the proposed size and silicone compound. Free samples may be available for eligible projects; eligibility and arrangements require confirmation.
