A wire pass-through grommet provides a local interface between a cable and a panel opening. It helps reduce abrasion when the profile and dimensions suit the installation.
Specify the mounting-hole size, panel thickness and cable passage. Check connector clearance, bend requirements and support. An ordinary open grommet does not automatically provide a seal, rated electrical insulation or cable pull resistance.
Choose the compound for the actual operating conditions. Custom manufacture is reviewed against customer drawings or existing samples, including feasibility, tooling and sampling requirements. Verify the approved part rather than assuming any specification can be manufactured or met.
