Manufacturing from drawings or samples
Special-Shaped Rubber Grommets
For a panel opening or assembly that does not match the listed round and oval profiles, send your drawing or an existing sample for manufacturing review. Square, rectangular and other special outlines need a defined section, corner geometry, orientation and material specification before quotation.

Choose a Product Series to Order
Open a product series, match the drawing and part dimensions, then select the available material and color. Review the price and minimum order, add the part to your cart, and adjust the quantity before checkout. If a standard profile fits, order from the catalog. For a different shape, send your drawing or existing sample for manufacturing review.

Specify the outline and the section together
A square or rectangular description identifies only part of the geometry. The mating panel and cross-section are needed to review the fit.
Square and rectangular outlines
Provide length, width and corner radii for both the panel cutout and the required grommet profile. Identify which dimensions describe the opening, groove and outer flange, and state the measurement units.
Grooves, openings and wall sections
Show the panel thickness and groove section, the required cable passage or closed center, and relevant wall dimensions. A plan view alone may not explain how the part sits in the panel.
Orientation and asymmetric features
Mark the installed direction, clearance, offset openings and any features that prevent the part from being rotated. Include section views or an existing sample where the three-dimensional shape is not clear from the outline.
Prepare a drawing or sample for manufacturability review
The existing special-shape gallery illustrates profile variety. It is not a standard square or rectangular stock-size catalog.
Identify the controlling specification
Send the drawing revision, dimensions, tolerances and acceptance criteria. If you provide a sample, identify the features it must reproduce and any changes already defined in your specification.
State the material requirements
Include the required compound, hardness and color where known, together with temperature, fluids and outdoor exposure. List any required documentation so the proposed material and production specification can be reviewed.
Explain the mating assembly
Provide the panel cutout and thickness, assembly access and the cable or component passing through the part. Share the intended fit checks and acceptance conditions rather than relying on an external shape alone.
From review to an agreed production part
Custom manufacture follows your drawing or existing sample, with requirements confirmed before tooling and production.
Manufacturability and quotation
We review the supplied geometry and specification, clarify unresolved requirements and prepare a project quotation. Include quantity and delivery requirements so tooling, sample and production arrangements can be considered together.
Tooling and sample confirmation
Confirm the drawing, material and agreed tooling arrangements before sampling. Evaluate the sample against the mating assembly and acceptance criteria, and document any agreed revision before production approval.
Production and repeat orders
Order against the approved drawing revision, material specification and acceptance requirements. Retain those references for repeat orders and identify any change to the panel, application or required configuration for review.
Before you specify a part
Special-Shaped Rubber Grommets: purchasing questions
Confirm the complete part specification and acceptance requirements for your assembly.
Do you list standard square or rectangular grommet sizes?
The existing special-shape gallery does not provide a standard dimension table for square or rectangular parts. Send your drawing or an existing sample so the geometry and manufacturing requirements can be reviewed.
What should a rectangular grommet drawing include?
Include the panel cutout and grommet outline dimensions, corner radii, groove section, panel thickness, opening or closed-center requirement, tolerances and installation orientation. State the units and drawing revision.
Can an existing sample be used instead of a complete drawing?
An existing sample can be submitted for manufacturing review. Identify the dimensions and features that must be reproduced, the mating assembly, material requirements and acceptance criteria. The agreed production specification must be confirmed before manufacture.
Does the gallery confirm immediate availability of the pictured shapes?
No. The gallery illustrates special-profile examples. Availability, tooling, material and production arrangements are reviewed for the particular drawing or sample and requested quantity.
Can I evaluate a sample before production?
Sample arrangements are confirmed as part of the project review. Free samples may be available for eligible projects; contact us to confirm eligibility and sample arrangements for the proposed part.
Prepare your production inquiry
Send the part reference or your drawing or existing sample details, required quantity and service conditions. Confirm manufacturing feasibility, sample arrangements and production requirements for your specification.
