Mounting applications
Rubber Grommets for Vibration Mounting Applications
Review a mounting grommet against the complete assembly: supported load, fastener, panel, movement and operating environment. Use the existing vibration-grommet profile as a reference and send the mounting drawing for a part-specific quotation.

Choose a Product Series to Order
Open a product series, match the drawing and part dimensions, then select the available material and color. Review the price and minimum order, add the part to your cart, and adjust the quantity before checkout. These are standard catalog profiles for comparison; application suitability and any required performance must be confirmed.

Define the mounting assembly
The mounting interface needs more information than a cable-passage diameter.
Load and mounting arrangement
Provide the supported mass or load, the number of mounting points and the load direction at each point. Include the mounting orientation and any unequal load distribution shown on your assembly drawing.
Fastener and panel stack
Identify the bolt or pin, sleeve, washers, panel hole and panel thickness. State the installed compression or preload requirement and show the available space around the grommet.
Movement and clearance
Describe expected movement, travel limits, nearby rigid contacts and installation access. Include dimensional tolerances and any retention or removal-force requirements that the sample must meet.
Specify the performance to be evaluated
Shape and hardness alone do not establish vibration-isolation performance.
Operating conditions
Share the operating speed or frequency range, excitation direction and relevant start/stop or shock conditions. Include the measurement method and acceptance limits rather than a general request for less vibration.
Material and environment
State the compound specification or candidate family, hardness and tolerance, temperatures and fluid exposure. Use the material guide to identify limitations before confirming a grade.
Assembly validation
Define how the installed sample will be evaluated, including the mounting configuration and performance measurements. Load capacity, isolation, noise reduction and service life are subject to the agreed part and assembly evidence.
Prepare a drawing-based manufacturing inquiry
The existing vibration range provides a profile reference. Request dimensions and a quotation for the actual mounting requirement.
Provide the part definition
Send a controlled drawing or existing sample details, with dimensions, material, hardness and tolerances. Include an assembly view when the mating hardware defines the fit.
Separate sample and production needs
State the quantities needed for evaluation and production, inspection requirements and requested delivery. Tooling and sample arrangements are confirmed after manufacturability review.
Keep approval conditions traceable
Identify the approved drawing revision and sample acceptance criteria for repeat orders. Changes to the material, geometry or mounting arrangement should be included in the next review.
Before you specify a part
Rubber Grommets for Vibration Mounting Applications: purchasing questions
Confirm the complete part specification and acceptance requirements for your assembly.
Can a cable grommet be assumed to work as a vibration mount?
No. A cable-passage profile does not establish mounting load capacity or isolation performance. Provide the complete mounting arrangement and required measurements so the proposed part can be reviewed.
What load or frequency rating is available?
No universal load or frequency rating is specified here. Send the load at each mounting point, operating conditions and acceptance criteria to request review of the particular geometry and compound.
Is there a complete size table for the pictured profile?
The profile is shown as a product reference. Request its drawing and confirmed dimensions, or submit your own controlled drawing or sample details; do not scale dimensions from the photograph.
Can you quote a custom mounting grommet?
Submit your drawing or existing sample for manufacturability review. Include the mating hardware, material, preload and performance requirements so tooling, sampling and production can be quoted against a defined specification.
Prepare your production inquiry
Send the part reference or your drawing or existing sample details, required quantity and service conditions. Confirm manufacturing feasibility, sample arrangements and production requirements for your specification.
