A 15 mm rubber grommet should be selected for a defined opening and function. Confirm which feature the size refers to and check the complete product drawing.
For a panel passage, provide the cutout, panel thickness and cable or tube dimensions. If sealing is required, specify the fluid and exposure conditions. If the part is a vibration mount, provide the load and mounting arrangement.
These functions are not interchangeable. A basic edge grommet does not establish equipment isolation or worker protection from vibration. Choose the compound for the environment and validate the selected part against the actual requirements.
