Rubber grommet edging lines a specified cut edge or opening. It provides an interface that can help reduce abrasion when cables pass across that edge.
Check the panel thickness, edge profile, bend radius and required length. Follow the product instructions for cutting, joints and retention. Continuous edge trim is different from a cable organizer with individual slots.
Edging does not by itself separate every cable or prevent overheating. Provide suitable cable support and routing, and choose the compound for the temperature and exposure. Inspect the fitted trim to ensure that it remains seated and covers the intended edge.
