Oblong grommets are one of the most popular types and shapes of rubber grommets. Like the vast majority of other grommets, these ones are most commonly used for their insulating properties and to protect wiring or do cable management in various industries. Their oblong shape makes them quite popular in the instances where you need to run some thin, flat cables, rather than a bunch of regular, oval-shaped ones.
