Conduit grommets or bushings must be selected for the specified conduit or panel interface. Electrical conduit entries and water-pipe seals have different requirements and are not automatically interchangeable.
Check the conduit dimensions, opening, wall thickness and required fixing method. For electrical installations, use a component appropriate to the equipment and cable-entry requirements.
If sealing is needed, define the fluid exposure and verify the assembly. Rubber material alone does not establish an airtight or watertight connection. Choose the compound for the temperature and environment, and confirm all dimensions against the product drawing.
