A rubber grommet specified for a 1-inch mounting hole fits a nominal 25.4 mm cutout within the stated tolerances. Its internal cable passage is a separate dimension.
Check the panel-thickness range, flange clearance and cable or bundle dimensions. Include attached connectors in the installation plan. Do not select a cable by the mounting-hole size alone.
Choose the compound for the intended temperature and exposure. Sealing and vibration performance require separate specifications and verification. Service life depends on the actual conditions, so inspect the installed part as required rather than assuming decades of protection.
