Rubber pass-through grommets provide a local interface around a cable or tube crossing a panel. The part must match the cutout, panel thickness and passage requirements.
Check connector clearance, installation access and the retaining profile. Follow the fitting instructions and avoid cutting or overstretching the rubber. A flexible part is not automatically suitable for every opening.
Select the compound for the actual weather, temperature and fluid exposure. Inspect removed parts before considering reuse and follow the application requirements. Verify sealing or strain relief separately when needed; a standard open grommet does not establish those functions.
