Watertight is not the same as water-resistant and waterproof. Watertight is something that closes a hole or something else in such a way that water cannot enter or exit thanks to a product that is watertight. While waterproof and water-resistant means that the product itself cannot be damaged by water. It is clear to you that the difference is quite big.
