Graphite powder

In the process of processing, storage or use of rubber rubber grommets, the phenomenon that the performance gradually deteriorates due to the influence of external environmental factors, until the loss of use value is called aging.

The occurrence and development of rubber grommets aging is a process from the surface to the inside, from quantitative to qualitative. The change in appearance after aging is that there are spots, loss of light or micro-cracks on the surface, and the hand feels soft and sticky or hard and brittle; aging causes some physical and chemical properties and electrical properties of the rubber to deteriorate. The degree of occurrence of various mechanical properties decreases, and the longer the aging time, the more significant the change.

Metal powder

Metal is a good conductor of electricity. Adding metal powder to rubber can also make rubber grommets conductive. Commonly used are iron powder, copper powder, aluminum powder and so on. Although the bonding performance of metal powder and rubber is not very good, it is difficult to disperse in rubber. Copper and iron will accelerate the aging of rubber products and increase the quality of products, but they are still used because of their good electrical conductivity.

Conductive fiber

If the carbon fiber, graphite fiber, metal whisker, metal fiber, etc. are added to the rubber compound, the rubber grommets can also be made conductive. It is generally used together with conductive fillers when applied. Carbon fiber and graphite fiber have high conductivity and thermal conductivity 髙, good temperature resistance, but expensive, which greatly limits the scope of application.
